The sky is grey this morning as we break our mooring, we had a quite peaceful night last night moored just above the lock with no one else around. Not far down the canal we top up with water again before tackling Soulbury three locks flight, we do these by ourselves this morning and its not long before we are through and on our way again.
We pass Old Linslade Manor http://www.bedfordshire.gov.uk/CommunityAndLiving/ArchivesAndRecordOffice/CommunityArchives/Linslade/OldLinsladeManor.aspx and then moor up just by The Globe Inn a canal side pub, which surprisingly we don't visit,not far from here's £2.5 million disappeared in 20 mins during the Great Train robbery .
We have a quite afternoon sitting in the sun which has appeared and then settle down for the night, problems again with getting a TV signal tonight only ITV, CH 4 and CH5 don't know why but can't get a proper signal , plenty of move the arial and retuning but no joy, we must save up and get a automatic satellite receiver.
