A wet night

It did rain last night but this morning it has stopped, we toyed with the idea of finding a winding hole to turn the boat around and then head back up to Froghall , but the the heavens opened again so we decided to carry on and retrace our tracks back to the junction and to turn to Leek.
We completed four locks and also visited a shop for bread and milk before morning up outside of the Holybush pub in the village of Denford, again the heavens open so we decided to stay her for the night.
We gave the boat a good clean from bow to stern and then put on dinner before changing and of for a quick half.
