Still at Swarkestone lock, where we wait for repairs to the coping stones to be completed, I know that work like this needs to be carried out but they have has six winter months to do this, also health and safety has gone mad, I never seen so much safety fencing and men with high visible jackets and hard hats. The workforce are not the quickest either, they arrive about 9.00 o'clock start work about 10 and then start getting ready to go home at 3 o'clock .
At the moments we are one of five boats waiting to use the locks, which hopefully will be open tomorrow and allow us on our away again. So will be able to tell you more when we are moving.
