We were up early this sunny morning, and we leave our mooring and pass under Wallingford Bridge with its 17 arches though only a few are used as a waterway, immediately we were swamped with different size rowing boats with their crews on their daily workouts, so we worked our way through these boats. We then pass the public house " Beetle and Wedge" a beetle is a mallet used to hit the wedge to split trees into planks, we pass by a Island just before Moulsford railway bridge which is suppose to be haunted, and then pass Moulsford village.

Here the valley narrows and houses that we would never ever to afford unless we one the lottery grace the riverbanks, we are not jealous, no we not well maybe a little. Then it's two locks before we moor up again to enjoy the sunny afternoon watch life go by on the Thames. We did have a little walk around the village of Goring with its pretty cottages made of brick and flint , the church here is well situated on the rive and its bell dates from 1290 making it one of the oldest bells in England.
