Today we woke to a lovely sunny morning and took a short walk into Oxford, a university city that has some of the best colleges in Britain there is too much to write about so I will let you google it yourself, but to our American friends, who I know some time delve into our blog, I say if and when you come Britain this should be one stop on your trip you should definitely make. http://www.visitoxfordandoxfordshire.com/
As said we spent all morning wandering around this city, and then walked back to the boat, then moved it down the canal a bit and moored up again and sat on the stern of our boat in the sun,even the ships cat enjoyed it today.
Whilst sitting out sunning ourselves we spoke to a couple who it turned out that the wife was from Tredegar and her nan use to live in Blackwood where Denise use to live by, so they both reminisced about old days..... It a small world.
One thing this morning we passed a group of Oxford schoolboys coming from one of the prep schools on their way to church, I thought to myself if I kick at least ten of them then I would bound to get at least one M.P. of the future........only joking.
